Privacy policy

This policy explains what data AppIraqi collects and how we use it.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed) and the public profile details you add.
  • Eligibility requests, messages and reports: what you write in those forms.
  • Analytics: when someone views a product page or clicks a link we record the event with an anonymous fingerprint that changes daily (derived from IP address, browser and date). We do not store the IP address itself.
  • Cookies: a session cookie for login and form protection only. No advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

  • To run the platform, review listings and prevent abuse.
  • To show builders aggregated statistics about their own products.
  • To email you about your account and listings.

3. What is public

Your public profile, your published products and vote counts. Your email address is never shown publicly.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use service providers for hosting and email only as far as needed.

5. Your rights

You can edit your details in your dashboard, or ask for a copy or deletion of your account via the contact form.

6. Retention

We keep account data while the account exists, and anonymous analytics events for at most 24 months.
